Beryl is the current 1st Vice President of the Georgia Watercolor Society, Member of the Pastel Society of America, originating member of the North Georgia Photography Club and of Painting Nuts.

Over the years she engaged in stained glass production, gourd carving/painting, and basketry as outlets for her creative energy.

Recently retired from decades in management as proprietor of a nursery, plus retail and government management on the regional level, she now has the time to explore her creative side in more depth.

Her current production is primarily representational landscapes in watercolor and pastel,   plus theme studies in photography. These reflect her love and appreciation of the natural world and of the interaction of light with the subject matter.

She has taken continuing education classes @ North Georgia University and workshops with internationally known artists Johannes Vloothuis, Lian Quan Zhen and Frank Webb.

Her most recent showing was at the Kudzu Art Zone in Norcross and at Bowen Center for the Arts, Dawsonville.
