Nancy has studied art in the Atlanta area for several years with Chris di Domizio at Old World Art, and has studied with notable painters Hedi Moran, Bill Davidson, Jim Richards, Amanda Carder Lovett and Colley Whisson of Australia. She will continue to study with nationally known artists Daniel Keys and Kathy Anderson at the famed Scotsdale Artist School in the fall of 2012.
After a twenty-five year business career as a Vice-President of Wachovia Bank, a partner with the Trammell Crow Company, and finally as an operations manager for family owned Applied Software, Nancy discovered a passion for oil painting. She has also experimented in pastel and watercolor, but painting in oil remains her favored medium.
Born in a small northwestern Alabama town, Nancy graduated from college and then obtained an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She has lived and worked in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Dallas, Texas; Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and, finally, Atlanta, Georgia.
Nancy’s work has hung in numerous juried shows in the Atlanta area and in private collections. She is a member of the Atlanta Artists Center, an associate member of Oil Painters of America, a member of the Dawsonville County Arts Council and a member of American Women Artists.
