Hollie is a self-taught artist and lifelong crafter with a love for creating beautiful things by hand. Inspired by vintage treasures, nature, and everyday beauty, she enjoys exploring a variety of creative mediums—from painting and sewing to handmade décor and unique craft projects. Her creative style blends a love of nostalgia with a fresh, personal touch.
Kinusaiga is a beautiful Japanese textile art often described as “painting with fabric.” Instead of using paint or thread, small pieces of fabric are carefully fitted into grooves cut into a firm board, creating colorful, textured images with a subtle raised effect. The technique requires no sewing or embroidery—fabric, color, pattern, and texture become the artist’s pallet.
All materials are provided for this fiber arts class. Feel free to bring a snack or refreshments.

The Bowen is located in the heART of Downtown Dawsonville on GA Highway 9. This historic building is still known as “The Old Rock School” circa 1941. The 5,000 sq.ft. stone building is perfect light and space to present exciting exhibitions and education for the cultural arts and social gatherings.
