On September 27, The Annual Quilt Exhibit, Falling in Love…with quilting by the Heart in Hand Quilt Guild, opens at The Bowen. View 65 handcrafted quilts by Guild Members who hail from Dawson, Hall, Lumpkin, Pickens and Forsyth Counties. Come join us and meet these quilters. THIS DISPLAY RUNS UNTIL OCTOBER 24, 2019.
Every day during the month long display, quilt docents will walk you through the myriads of ideas and designs. They help familiarize you with techniques and materials of the dedicated and talented fingers of guild members. The Bowen is open Tuesday to Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm and Saturday Noon to 4:00pm.
Don’t miss our RAFFLE QUILT produced by five quilt members. For $1.00, you could be the proud owner of this favored design. Tickets are on sale at The Bowen where you can view this king size quilt. Proceeds are donated to The Bowen. The drawing is held December 11, 2019.
The Heart in Hand Quilt Guild is a non-profit dedicated to promoting the art of quilting through workshops, exchanging ideas and fellowship. Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday at 6:30pm at The Bowen and consist of presentations by well-known teachers and the Guild’s own talented members.
