Join us for the celebration of Brad Fox who was one of our favorite cameramen at the Bowen. His works will be on display from January 7th to 27th.

Brad (John Bradley Fox) was a microbiologist-turned photographer. Originally from Tennessee and having lived in Atlanta, He moved to Dahlonega in 2011 to enjoy the mountains. He was rarely seen without his camera in hand, photographing the Georgia landscape: fields, waterfalls, clouds, grapevines, barns, flowers, insects, birds, and animals.
Brad’s obsession with photography began in a class with Neil Chaput de Santonge (now at Rocky Mountain School of Photography), and he attended classes with John Netherton, John Shaw, and other well-recognized photographers. Being part of a group at the Bowen in Dawsonville, Brad enjoyed sharing critiques and tips with other photographers. The depth of his knowledge developed through years of study and observation. He was a true scientist, constantly researching, testing, and experimenting to learn absolutely everything he could about photography.
The Bowen is located at just north of the Historic Dawsonville Square on Highway 9 North just off Highway 53. This event is free and open to the public during normal business hours Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday Noon to 4pm. Don’t miss it!
