Our huge Juried Photo Exhibition in now on display in our beautiful vintage building until July 12, 2024. Over 140 works from 38 photographers from all over North Georgia entered for Prizes. See all the winners this year and their incredible skills and talent.

We would really like to thank ALL the wonderful and energetic photographers who entered this special show. They took the time and effort to produce eye- opening images to enlighten your mind with thoughtful and inspiring works. This display is awesome! Don’t miss it!

Bard Wrisley of Dahlonega, GA was this year’s judge. Below are his remarks to our gallery crowd of 135 at the Opening Awards:

First of all I’d like to compliment Ginny on such an excellent exhibition of photography. Then I’d like to thank her for asking me to judge such a great show. The quality of work is truly exceptional and wide ranging in terms of subject matter and technique.

Having been a commercial photographer for 43 years, it’s always a treat for me to spend time enjoying the work of my fellow photographers. Judging this group was not an easy task and I spent almost three hours looking at each image several times. My process in judging was to establish three categories and use a 1-5 point system in the areas of 1) technical, 2) artistic and 3) how the image captured “the moment.”

I then added up the points to determine the winners. I wish I was here to congratulate the winners, as well as all the photographers for the outstanding work that you are enjoying this evening. Thank you again for the opportunity to be a part of the show.  ~ Bard Wrisley
