Don’t miss these exciting GWS Exhibit events Saturday, August 14!
At 10:00AM, Vladislav Yeliseyev will be holding a free demonstration of his masterful watercolor techniques, which he explains is a challenge “to achieve the richness in color and not lose the transparency of watercolor.” He paints with tonal values and techniques that include layering, wet on wet, and dry brush. Watch and learn from a master! He is the Georgia Watercolor Society’s judge for their member art exhibit held at the Bowen August 3 to September 17 and will be presenting awards at Noon after his demonstration. Vladislav Yeliseyev is an exhibiting member of many art societies nationwide, and a Signature member of the prestigious American Impressionist Society, National Watercolor Society, and Florida Watercolor Society. From 12:00 to 1:30PM, join us for the Reception and Awards for the announcements of the GWS Member Exhibit winners. Over $1,800 in prizes will be offered and guests can enjoy snacks and refreshments as they stroll through this enormous display and review the prize-winning works.
Admission is free and the Bowen Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday 10AM to 4PM and Saturday 12 to 4PM.
