Join Bob Ross-certified instructor Anne Hope for an beginner-friendly oil painting workshop to create your own “Tranquil Autumn Lake.” Drawing on 18 years of teaching experience and official certifications from the Bob Ross Studio in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Anne will guide you step-by-step through classic techniques to complete your very own 11″ x 14″ oil painting. Absolutely no prior experience is needed!
By the end of the class, you will have painted a vibrant landscape featuring a leaf-scattered rustic path leading to a calm lake beneath a soft, glowing sky.
Class Details & Registration:
- What to Wear: Because oil painting is a bit of a messy process, please wear a smock or old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
- What to Bring: A roll of paper towels.
-
Schedule: Doors open at 10:00 AM to get settled. Instruction runs from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
-
Food & Drink: Coffee, water, and juice are provided. Please pack a lunch, as our 30-minute midday break won’t leave enough time to dine out.
-
Pricing: The total cost is $70. A $50 registration fee paid in advance to the Bowen Center secures your spot, and a $20 materials fee is due to the instructor on the day of class (cash or check only).
-
Class Size Limit: This class will be an intimate group of 6 for personalized guidance. Ages 14 and up are welcome (ages 14-15 must be accompanied by an adult).
-
