Step into a mesmerizing world where history and dreamscapes collide.
Sands of the Subconscious
is the captivating legacy of visionary artist Raymond Rohr, Jr spanning from the 1950s through the 2000s.
Rohr’s modern surrealist oil paintings transport viewers into otherworldly landscapes filled with shifting timelines, floating elements, and striking Ancient Egyptian motifs—from towering pyramids and watchful sphinxes to pharaohs and cobras.
Venture into the downstairs gallery for a stark, compelling contrast: a sprawling retrospective of Rohr’s black-and-white photography. This curated secondary show highlights his keen eye for light, shadow, and still-life composition across five decades.
Whether you are a lifelong art enthusiast or an educator seeking real-world inspiration to show your students, this dual exhibition offers a profound journey through the mind of a uniquely talented artist.
