A Cozy Morning of Watercolor
“Come as you are. Leave with something you made. Let this become your cozy little morning of painting each month.” — Lisa
Slow down, learn something new, and enjoy creating without the pressure of making something “perfect.”
This relaxed monthly watercolor class is all about exploring, experimenting, and enjoying the process while learning new techniques along the way. Bring your favorite watercolor supplies, or keep it simple and rent materials for the day.
November Theme: Late Fall Landscapes
Create a soft, atmospheric landscape featuring distant trees, an open field or pathway, and the beautiful colors of late fall.
Students may create a small painting, greeting cards, or a combination of both.

I’m looking forward to painting with you and spending a couple of hours playing with watercolor together! We’ll be creating fall-inspirations, most importantly, experimenting and having some fun.
Materials Kits — $15 I’ll have complete materials kits available for anyone who would like to use my supplies during class. Your kit includes 100% cotton watercolor cards along with access to my collection of artist-quality watercolor supplies: paints, metallic watercolors, brushes, art tape, pencils, erasers, paper towels and a few other fun things we may play with.
If you’d like a kit, simply reply to this email so I can have one ready for you. You can purchase it at class.
If you’re newer to watercolor, I actually recommend trying the materials kit before investing in a lot of supplies of your own. It’s a great opportunity to try different brushes, paints and materials and start figuring out what you enjoy working with.
Bringing Your Own Supplies?
Absolutely! Bring whatever you already have and feel comfortable using. As a general guide, you’ll want:
- Watercolor paints
- A few watercolor brushes (a round brush or mop brush is a great choice)
- Watercolor paper
- Pencil
- Kneaded or soft eraser
- Paper towels
- Metallic watercolors, if you have them and would like to play with them
