Announces the Show Winners for Down Home Juried Art Show
Alex Kraft, Assistant Professor of the University of North Georgia’s Visual Arts Department, juried the Bowen’s Down Home Art Show. This show features works of 37 artists and runs through December 12.
First Place of $400 was awarded to Dawsonville resident, John Seibel, Second Place $200 went to Atlanta resident, Tom Wood, and Third prize of $100 to Jasper resident, Barbara Edwards. Honorable Mentions went to Dawsonville’s Tom Reed, Jasper’s Janice Edens and Murrayville’s MaryJane Taylor.
The Bowen Center for the Arts is located just North of Dawsonville’s Historic Square at 334 Highway 9 North. Admission is free. Hours are Tuesday to Friday 10 to 4, Saturday Noon to 4.
