This Fall features the Bowen’s support of a Senior Capstone Mentor Project for Lily McKracken of Dawsonville. It features 6 exhibitors ranging from creative art to marketing management.

We are helping Lily through mentoring to plan and execute her display titled “Art for Good – Auction/Exhibition.” Designated items sold benefit her charity of choice Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This project applies real world skills to step from education and into integration in business settings.

Curating this exhibit helps Lily display the importance of gathering amateur and professional participants in the cultural arts in a professional setting. Please make the trip and view this exciting display.

The OPENING RECEPTION is Wednesday October 29 from 5:30 to 7:00pm. Join us for treats and refreshments and meet and greet Ms. McKracken and our exhibiting artists which includes local students and teachers.

The exhibit runs only a short time – from October 29 to November 1.View this fabulous display of artwork and discover wonderful creations, and excellent expression. We all hope these artists had as much fun creating these pieces of art! Thank you to the hard working teachers who took the time and effort to teach art! We hope to inspire young artists to always keep pencil and pen and paper on hand to express your artistic endeavors.

Visit the historic Bowen Tuesday-Friday 10AM-4PM or Saturday Noon to 4PM. We hope we can encourage youth of all age to create!  Watch for class dates and times for sewing, painting, and all sorts of crafts by joining our email list today – simply send your email to director @bowenarts.org.
